Flyers, Mendocino and Brinner

Good evening, Goedenavond, Guten Abend!
Today Jessica, Courtney and I brought 'Project Holiday Tea' to the outside world.
We worked the last couple of days on arranging a Holiday Tea (which is a traditional high tea with a holiday twist to it) for the Weller House, that's going to be held on the weekends in December this year. If it turns out to be a great success, we will continue in giving these high teas. We designed some very nice flyers with all the information on it including dates,time,menu,place, etc. So this morning we drove to Mendocino, the cutest little town only 10 miles away from Fort Bragg, to hand out the flyers around all of town. The weather wasn't as good as the previous days, but it wasn't raining, so that was good enough for us :) Lots of people were very interested in the idea of the Holiday Tea, so hopefully we get some reservations soon. We had a nice lunch at one of the cafes in Mendocino and after we went back to Fort Bragg.
We stopped by the grocery store to get some final ingredients for tonight. Courtney and I prepared a Brinner. Now this needs some explanation. Brinner is the combination of a Breakfast and Dinner in one, haha! So we made a vegetable quiche, cooked some bacon and made waffles with maple syrup and vanilla ice cream as a desert. I know, not the most healthy meal ever, but delicious. And we all deserved it after a long day of hard work, haha. Andy and Jessica got the fireplace going again, so we are all gathered now in the library/family room. Still got lots of things to do for the very first Holiday Tea this weekend, such as grocery shopping, making decisions on the set-up, etc. But because we did lots of hours this week allready, we are hoping on getting a day off on this Thursday, then we can all go together on a trip to one of the natural Hot Springs in the Redwoods! That's not the only plans we got, hehe. For example next Tuesday we would like to see The Hobbit in the cinema (only $5 on this day) :) Anyways, definitely excited for the high tea too this weekend, wondering how it will turn out eventually.
But the most exciting thing of all: my dear friend Emese is coming in January to California and we are going to travel about three months together :D! We are allready making some plans about where we would like to go/what we would reallly want to see. Really looking forward to it, it's going to be great for sure!
Tomorrow flyer'ing in Fort Bragg, grocery store-shopping and trying out some recipes. Fingers crossed that the sun will make its appearance again ;)
